Obituary of J Frederick DesRoches
The death occurred peacefully at Wedgewood Manor, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, December 29th, 2022 of J. Frederick DesRoches of Borden, P.E.I., aged 89 years. Fred was born in Summerside to the late Anthony and Angelina (Arsenault) DesRoches.
Beloved husband of the late Joan (Waddell) DesRoches and loving father of Gary (Angelica), Steven (Vanda), Roger (Elaine) and Mike (Susan). Also lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Predeceased by his daughter Louann (infancy), brothers and sister Edmond, George, Albert, Ralph, Austin, Henry, and Margaret.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, January 5th, 2023, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in St. Peter’s Church Cemetery, 7 Mile Bay, P.E.I. at a later date. Memorial donations in Fred’s memory to PEI Humane Society or Heart and Stroke Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday from 1:00 until time of service.
