Obituary of Wally Ross
The death occurred suddenly at his late residence on Sunday December 25th, 2022, of Walter “Wally” Ross of Borden- Carleton, P.E.I. and formerly of Kinkora, P.E.I., aged 65 years. Wally was born in Metz, France to his father the late Bill Ross and his mother Florence (Murphy) Ross. Loving father of Matthew Ross (Hollye), Jillian Ross, Leaman Ross and Malcolm Ross. Also lovingly remembered by his granddaughter Zoey and was awaiting the arrival of his new granddaughter.
Survived by his brother and sisters Pat (Ann) Ross, Patsy (Wayne) Noonan, Phyllis (Simeon) Smith, Lynn Kelly, Kathy (Wayne) Linkletter.
Predeceased by his daughter Sarah Elizabeth (infancy).
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Saturday December 31st, 2022, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place in St. Peter’s Cemetery, Seven Mile Bay. Memorial donations in Wally’s memory to the Autism Society of PEI would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Friday from 2 – 4 and 6 - 8 p.m.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
