Obituary of Nunnie Phillips

Allen “Nunnie” Phillips of Summerside passed away peacefully at Prince County Hospital on December 1, 2022 at the age of 79. He was the son of the late Reginald and Charlotte (nee Grady) Phillips.

Nunnie is survived by his three children, Dianna (Richard) Doucet of Riverview NB, David (Karen) of Frenchfort, Tammy Silliker of Summerside and grandchildren Nicolai, Ellen, Jillian, Luc, Cody and Sydney, great-grandchildren Aubrey and Clara as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Nunnie was predeceased by his wife of 28 years, Eleanor (nee Gunning), his brothers Robert, James, Sterling and Reginald and one sister, Kay.

Nunnie worked for Canada Post for 50 years and was an avid sports fan, particularly baseball and golf, watching many games and tournaments with his family.

No funeral or viewing will take place as per Nunnies wishes. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside PE.
