Linda Griffin posted a condolence

Dear Debbie, Kelly, James, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and friends of Roger's:
On behalf of our beloved mother and Roger's Aunt Nina (Wedge) Cameron, we extend our sincere and heartfelt sympathy on the passing of Roger. Linda Griffin, Carolyn O'Connell, Eddy Cameron, Paul Cameron, and Donna Blanchard
Having attended the funeral service for Roger, I regret not being able to offer my condolences to the family personally due to the brief time period. Even though Roger was a first cousin, I'm saddened to say that our paths only crossed very few times in life. However, please know that our hearts grieve with you all in your great loss.
From my very brief encounters and observations of Roger, it appeared he was humble, quiet, mild-mannered and someone who endured much suffering and pain in life. He worked to provide for his family and had various God-given talents and interests that provided him with some pleasure. As a son, husband, father, grandfather. brother, in-law, and friend, Roger would have displayed his love deeply and privately. His grandchildren would be the apple of his eye" and he would have been delighted and proud of their accomplishments and successes. Roger's life impacted others in so many ways.
I offer this prayer for each family member. Dear Lord, please give the entire Wedge family comfort, strength, peace and rest as they grieve the passing of their beloved Roger. Help them to trust in your unfailing love and faithfulness. Give them gladness and make their efforts successful as they journey forward. Help them refrain from thinking negative thoughts and cause them to think good thoughts as it says in Philippians 4:8 "Whatsoever things are true, honest, just, pure, lovely, of good report, if there be any virtue and praise, think on these things."
In closing, we extend this blessing on all of you - Now may our Lord Jesus Christ, and God the Father who loved us, comfort and strengthen you in any good thing you do and say. Linda, Carolyn, Eddy, Paul and Donna P.S. Please know my daughter Michelle Smith had Roger as a dialysis patient and thought very highly of him.
May our gracious God find favor with you and multiply blessings in your midst.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
