Obituary of Ramsay, Vivian Francis
The death occurred peacefully at Andrews of Summerside on Monday, October 17th, 2022, of Vivian Francis Ramsay, formerly of Summerside, aged 76 years. Vivian was born in Pleasant View, to her late parents Jack Nelligan and Annie Ramsay .
Beloved wife to Kenneth “Ken” Ramsay and loving mother to her 5 children; Kay (David) Doherty of Stanley Bridge, Connie Ramsay (Jeff Gallant) of Charlottetown, Angela Hamill (Wayne Lucas) of St. John, and Peter Ramsay, of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Mitchell Dixon, Michael (Jandra) Ramsay, Daryl-Lynn (Rodger) Nielsen, Amber Ramsay, Lucas Ramsay, Taylor Doherty, and numerous nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers, Maynard (Vicky) Ramsay, Mryl (Marie)Ramsay and Gary (Marlene) Ramsay and will be sorely missed by her brother and sisters-in-law.
Vivian is predeceased by daughter Ruby Ramsay, Grand-daughter Becca Dixon, Father and Mother-in-law Amos and Margaret Ramsay.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday, October 21st then to the Immaculate Conception Our Lady of Assumption Church, Palmer Road for a funeral mass at 3:00 pm. On Thursday, October 20th visiting hours from 6:00pm until 8:00 p.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
