Obituary of Moase, Willard George
The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday, October 5th, 2022 of Willard George Moase of North Granville, P.E.I., aged 83 years. Son of the late Hillard and Mary (Burns) Moase. Beloved husband of Windsor (Wall) Moase and loving father of Will (Stephanie), Tracy (Terry) Gorrill and Trevor, grandfather to Jenna, Joshua, Jessie and Nathan. Memorial donations in Willard’s memory to PEI Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside. A private funeral service will be held. Interment will take place in the North Granville Cemetery. In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
