Obituary of MacDonald, Everett "Mac" Joseph
The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Sunday, October 2nd, 2022 of Everett “Mac” Joseph MacDonald of Summerside and formerly of Guelph, Ontario, aged 85 years. Mac was born in Borden, P.E.I. to the late Joseph and Annie (Rector) MacDonald.
Beloved husband of Bette (Warwick) MacDonald and loving father of Darlene MacDonald, Brian MacDonald, Tammy (David) Stupecka, stepchildren Deborah Cordery, Kathleen Cordery, Bruce (Margaret) Cordery, Kandi Cordery (Tony O’Quinn. Also lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Marion Duncaster, Joyce Ramsay, Donald MacDonald Waive Madden, Blair (Ella) MacDonald, Ernie MacDonald, Barry (Lynn) MacDonald and Valerie (Dean) Lowther and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his daughter Debbie MacDonald, brother Douglas MacDonald, sister Joanie MacDonald, brother’s in-Law Gordon Duncaster, Eric Ramsay and George Madden and by his sister in-law Shirley MacDonald.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, October 5th, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place in Cape Travers United Church Cemetery, Cape Travers, P.E.I. Memorial donations in Mac’s memory to PEI Humane Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday from 1:00 until time of service.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
