Obituary of Gallant, Geraldine Mary Theresa

The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Wednesday September 28, 2022, of Geraldine Mary Theresa Gallant of Summerside aged 82 years. Geraldine was born in Summerside to the late Bernard and Bernice (Beaton) Simmons. Beloved wife of the late Arthur Gallant and loving mother of Sheldon (Lynn) Barlow, Randy (Peggy) Barlow, Cheryl Barlow, Kelly Barlow and Peggy (George) Perry. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Shelley, Josh (Arron), Jennifer (Jason), Kelly, Justin, Andrew (Holly), many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Survived by the following brothers and sisters, James (Linda) Simmons, Elma Noye (Ralph Rogers), Ron Simmons, Beverly “Suzie” Robinson (Randy). Predeceased by her son Cedric Barlow, sister Imelda Simmons, brothers Allison Simmons, Gary Simmons, and sister-in-law Gertie Simmons. Resting at East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Rd., Summerside P.E.I. A private family interment will take place at a later date. Memorial donations to the Prince County Hospital Foundation in Geraldine's memory would be greatly appreciated.
