Obituary of Dugay, Ronald Joseph

The death occurred peacefully at the Community Hospital Palliative Care Unit, O’Leary, P.E.I. on Friday, September 16, 2022 of Ronald Joseph Dugay of Union Corner, PEI, aged 74 years. Ron was born in Alberton, P.E.I. to his late parents Emmanuel and Doris (nee Bernard) Dugay. Beloved husband of Judy (Gallant) and loving father of Stuart (Tracy), Jonathan and Veronica and step-children Tracy (Scott) MacLennan and Tommy (Leah) Collins. Also lovingly remembered by his 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Survived by his brothers and sisters Sonny (Norma), Flo (Austin) MacLeod, Clair (Mike) Moore, Gerard, Bruce (Barb) and Gary (Julie), brother-in-law Ivan Curley, sister-in-law Darlene Gallant and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his son’s Ronald Jr. and Jason, brother Michael and sister Bunny. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd. Summerside. Visiting hours on Tuesday September 20th, from 1:00 p.m. – 2:45 p.m. followed by a funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 3:00 p.m. Interment to take place in St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche.
