Obituary of Murphy, Patrick Adrien
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Patrick Adrian Murphy at his late residence on Saturday August 27th, 2022 of Augustine Cove, P.E.I., aged 56 years. Patrick was born in Summerside to his late father George E. Murphy and his mother Regina (Roberts) Murphy.
Beloved husband of Barbara Ann (Conway) Murphy and loving father of Marcia Darrach and Travis (Kari) Coughlin and stepfather to Rachele Conway (Jordan). Also lovingly remembered by his 2 grandchildren Violet and Scarlett.
Survived by his brothers and sisters Terry-Lynn (Brian) MacKenzie, Hubert (Pamela) Murphy, Shawn, Paulette (Peter) Roberts, Marcia (Randy) Smith, Robbie, as well as many special nieces and nephews.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside, where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, September 2nd at 2:30 p.m. Memorial donations in Patrick’s memory can be made to Summerside Salvation Army or to PEI Humane Society. Visiting hours on Friday from 1:00 until time of service.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
