Obituary of Gaudet, Nora Marie

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Thursday, August 18th, 2022 of Nora Marie (Richard) Gaudet of Le Chez Nous, Wellington and formerly of Miscouche, P.E.I., aged 92 years. Nora was born in Urbainville, P.E.I. to the late Ceofred and Edna (Arsenault) Richard. Beloved wife of 63 years to Elmer Gaudet and loving mother of Stella (Edgar) Arsenault, Paul (Caroline), Mark (Allyson), Claire (Alain Boulianne) Louis (Jerri Lynn), son in-law Doug Breau husband of her dear departed daughter Gloria. Also lovingly remembered by her10 grandchildren Ryan, Adam, Kayla, Denis, Josée, Joceline, Emily, Katia, Clark and Blake, her 8 great grandchildren Sydney, Nathan, Logan, Rosalie, Adelaine, Rowyn, Emerson and Finn. Survived by her brother René (Aline) and her much loved sisters Zelma (late Edward), Melina (Dick) Cameron, Aldona (Richard) Larcheveque, Donalda (Donat) Gallant and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her daughter Mona in infancy, her brothers Fredric and Donat, sisters Yvonne, Cecile and Merie as well as many in-laws. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, August 23rd, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for a funeral mass at 11:15 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Nora’s memory can be made to St. John the Baptist cemetery fund.
