Obituary of Irma Mary Perry
The death occurred suddenly on Monday, October 10th, 2022 of Irma Mary (Arsenault) Perry of Summerside, P.E.I. aged 73 years. Irma was born in Summerside to the late Stanley and Lena Arsenault. Beloved wife of the late Robert “Bob” Perry and loving mother of Randy (Jamie Niessen), Summerside and Andrew Perry, Vancouver, B.C. Survived by her brother Raymond Arsenault, sisters Carol (Tony) Gabriel, Judy (Roger) Gallant, brother in-law Charlie Mountain, brother and sisters in-law Carol (Gordon) Goodwin, Ron (Carolyn) Perry and Brenda Perry, as well as many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her brother Verno Arsenault, sisters Jo-Anne Mountain and Erma Arsenault, infant brother Kenneth Arsenault, infant, , brothers-in-law Joe, Earl Jr., Gerald and Walter Perry. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday, October 14th, 2022 then to St. Paul’s Church for a funeral mass at 10:00 a.m. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Irma’s memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Arrangements entrusted to the East Prince Funeral Home, Summerside, P.E.I.
ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
