Poirier : The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Summerside ,P.E.I. on Saturday , February 26th , 2005 of Aurele J. Poirier of Wedgewood Manor ,Summerside and formerly of 127 Ottawa St. Summerside, aged 63 years . Dear father of Charlene Ward, Moncton, and grandfather of Payton and Samuel. He is also survived by his mother Irene (Arsenault) Poirier, S'Side, his brothers and sister: John (Margaret), St.Paul, Minnesota, Joanne (Jim) Mullins, and Robert (Simone), all of S'Side. He is also survived by his aunt Alice Poirier, S'Side and by his sister-in-law Shirley Poirier, Labrador City. He was predeceased by his father Louis Poirier and his brother Louie . Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home , 245 Pope Rd. , Summerside until Wednesday, for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 A.M. . Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery , Summerside at a later date . Memorial donation's in Aurele's memory to his grandchildren's educational fund would be greatly appreciated . Visiting hours on Tuesday , 7 - 9 P.M. only. Comrades of George R. Pearkes VC Branch #5 Royal Canadian Legion will hold a service of Remembrance at the funeral home at 6:45 PM on Tuesday.
