Obituary of MacLeod, Ida Elizabeth "Bea"
MacLeod : The death occurred suddenly at her late residence 106 LeFurgey Ave. Summerside, Thursday, July 28th , 2005 of Ida Elizabeth "Bea" MacLeod (nee Wood) aged 64 years. Beloved wife of the late Chester MacLeod and mother of Steven. She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Don Wood, Norboro, Wally (Doris), Marshfield, Jane (Fred) Phillips, St. John N.B., Blair, Montague, Elsie MacLeod, Edmonton Ab., David (Barbara) Marshfield, and Isobel (Lloyd) Hughes Dartmouth NS , her brother-in-law Arthur MacLeod, Vancouver B.C. and her sister-in-law Marie MacLeod, Waterloo Ont. and by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents Almon and Ida (Sutherland) Wood, Marshfield. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Saturday July 30th for a committal service at People's Cemetery

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
