Obituary of Newson, Janet Elma
The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her family , after a long battle with M.S., at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside on Wednesday, August 31st 2005 of Janet Elma Newson, formerly of Charlottetown, aged 64 years.
Loving daughter of Arthur & Margaret Newson and sister of Carlyle ( Hazel ) , Deryl ( Carol Ann ) , and Arlene ( Gordon ) Kent , all living in Summerside. Also remembered by her aunts and uncles: Malcolm Matheson of Ch'town, Elmer ( Beulah ) Newson of S'side, and Enoch ( Mary ) Newson of Westmoreland , along with several nieces and nephews.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Friday for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 P.M. . Interment to take place in People's Cemetery, Summerside.
Memorial donation's in Janet's memory to the Wedgewood Manor Equipment Fund, the M.S. Society, or to the Trinity United Church, S'side would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
