Obituary of Arsenault, Brenda Claire
Arsenault : The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday, September 2nd , 2005 of Brenda Claire Arsenault ( nee Ross ) of 1 Blake Lane,Vivan Lee Trailer Park, Summerside, aged 58 years.
Beloved wife of Robert Arsenault.Loving mother of Marcel of S'side, Randy ( Kim ) of Aylsford, N.S., and Daniel of Gagetown, N.B. . Also lovingly remembered by her father Stanley Ross of Ch'town, her grandchildren Christopher, Brandon, and Mason along with several nieces, nephews,aunts, and uncles. Survived by her sisters Joyce ( Victor ) Whalen of Brookside, N.S., Shirley ( Clair ) Arsenault of Stratford, and Gail Ross of Montague.
Predeceased by her mother Margaret ( nee Deighan ) Ross, her step-father Rex Neer, her brother-in-law Owen McDonald, her niece Marcia Arsenault, and her nephew Steven McDonald.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, then to St. Paul's Church Summerside for funeral mass at 10: 00 A.M. . Interment to take place in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Wellington. Memorial donations in Brenda's memory to the Hospice Palliative Care Assoc. of P.E.I. would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
