Obituary of Hippenstall, Ethel Mary
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital,Summerside on Saturday, October 1st, 2005 of Ethel Mary Hippenstall ( nee Merrill ) of Summerside, aged 79 years. Ethel was born in Lower Freetown on April 8th , 1926.
Beloved wife of the late Edward Hippenstall and loving mother of Eddie of Miscouche and Sharron ( Gary ) Martin of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her two grandchildren Darla & Jeremy, her two great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Survived by her brothers Walter and Ronnie of Ontario, Melvin of Slemon Park and her sisters Lillian & Georgie of Ontario.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 A.M.. Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Ethel's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M..

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
