Obituary of Arsenault, Clarence A. "Larry"
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Sunday, October 9th,2005 of Clarence A. 'Larry' Arsenault of 340 MacEwen Road, aged 82 years. Larry was born in Calumet Quebec on October 9th , 1923.
Beloved husband of Dorothy ( nee Doucette) Arsenault. He is survived by his brother Albert, Ottawa, his sisters: Muriel (Bob) St. Martin, Greenfield Park, Quebec and Vivian Bugnet, Napean Ontario, his brother-in-law Gerard (Elsie) Doucette and his sister-in-law Margaret Gallant of Summerside.
Predeceased by his parents Antoine and Patricia Anne (O'Conner) Arsenault, his brothers, Phil and Gerald, and his sister Doris Waterhouse.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside for visiting hours Monday 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service at the St. Laurent Chapel, 1200 Ogilvie Road,Ottawa, Thursday at 11:30 AM. Visitation in Ottawa on Wednesday 7-9 PM and Thursday 10:00-11:30 AM. Interment in the National Military Cemetery. (Beechwood Cemetery). Memorial donations in Larry's memory to the Canadian Kidney Foundation would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
