Obituary of Newson, Arthur Wilmot

 The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital surrounded by his family, on Thursday, November 17th , 2005, of Arthur Wilmot Newson of 418 Maple Grove Road, Summerside, aged 95 years. Arthur was born in Westmoreland P.E.I. on October 14, 1910, the son of the late Hammond and Susan (Ackland) Newson. Dear husband of Margaret(Matheson) Newson and loving father of Carlyle(Hazel ), Deryl (Carol Ann), and Arlene (Gordon) Kent all of Summerside. Loving grandfather of four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. He is survived by his brothers: Elmer (Beulah) Newson of Summerside and Enoch (Mary) Newson of Westmoreland: his brother-in-law Malcolm Matheson and by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, his daughter Janet, his brothers and sisters: Stephen, Lawrence, Raymond, Hammond, Edna Mayhew, Irene Matheson and Dorothy Heaney and by his sister-in-law Maude Matheson. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Sunday for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 P.M.
