Obituary of Falconer, Wilmot Henry
The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor,Summerside on Monday, November 28th , 2005 of Wilmot Henry Falconer , formerly of 113 Duke St., Summerside and Lower Sackville, N.S. , aged 70 years. Wilmot was born in Newcastle N.B. on June 25th , 1935 to his parents, the late William & Dorothy ( nee Brehaut ) Falconer .
Beloved husband of Eileen ( nee Arsenault ) Falconer and loving father of Gary, David, Marion, Ricky, Ronnie, Debroah and Martin. Also lovingly remembered by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Survived by his eight brothers and one sister and predeceased by one sister.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. Following cremation, a Memorial Service will be at the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, November 30th at 3:30 P.M.. No visiting hours by personal request.Memorial donations in Wilmot's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
