Obituary of Williams, Mary Elva

The death occurred peacefully at the Lennox Nursing Home,Charlottetown on Saturday, December 10th , 2005 of Mary 'Elva' Williams , formerly of Tyne Valley, aged 100 years. Elva was born in Tyne Valley on November 10th, 1905,to her parents, the late John & Marianne ( nee Ellis ) Williams. Beloved sister of Erma Gorrill of BirchHill and Glenn MacKinnon of St. Eleanor's. Also lovingly remembered by several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Evelyn ( Vernor ) Wood, Ella ( Harold ) MacLean, Olive Williams and Orell Williams , her brother Hinson ( Annie )Williams and her brothers-in-law Prowse Gorrill and William MacKinnon. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside where a private family visitation and funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel. Interment to take place in St. John's Anglican Cemetery, Ellerslie. Memorial donations in Elva's memory to the Lennox Nursing Home, Ch'town or St. John's Anglican Cemetery Fund, Ellerslie would be greatly appreciated.
