Obituary of Thibodeau, Joseph Emilien
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital,Summerside with his wife by his side, on Sunday, January 22nd , 2006 of Joseph Emilien 'Emile' Thibodeau of 241 All Weather Highway, Summerside, aged 73. Emile was born in Tracadie-Sheila, N.B. on August 26th , 1932 to his parents, Sylvain & Clothilde ( nee Comeau ) Thibodeau.
Beloved husband of Reta ( nee Palmer )Thibodeau and loving father of Peter ( Marissa ) Miller, Dawn ( David ) Mytrunec all of Edmonton, Ab. and Mitchell ( Cathy ) Miller of Bedford, N.S. . Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Maria & Mark Miller, Michael & Amanda Mytrunec and Kevin, Geoffrey and Jacqueline Miller along with several nieces and nephews. Survived by his brothers and sisters; Armand ( Geraldine )of Tracadie-Sheila; George of Montreal, Que.; Sister Lea of Campbellton, N.B.; and Elda ( Claude ) Losier of Tracadie-Sheila.
Besides his parents, he was predeceased by several brothers and sisters.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 A.M. . Memorial donations in Emile's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. No visiting hours by family request.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
