Obituary of Gallant, Leonard Joseph

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday, February 8th , 2006 of Leonard Joseph Gallant of the Miscouche Villa, Miscouche, aged 94 years. Leonard was born in Miscouche on February 11th, 1911 to his parents , the late Louis & Emily ( nee Arsenault )Gallant. Dear husband of the late Marie ( nee DesRoches ) Gallant. Also lovingly remembered by his daughter-in-law Jean Gallant of Miscouche, his grandchildren; Gary & Tammy of N.S., Dean of S'side and Janice Dyment of Ab. , along with several nieces, nephews, brothers & sisters-in-law. Predeceased by his son Edward,his daughter Hugette Essery and his brothers and sisters. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Friday , then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 10:30 A.M.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Leonard's memory to the St. John the Baptist Church Restoration Fund or to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
