Obituary of Cameron, Ivan Russell
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday, February 16th, 2006 of Ivan Russell Cameron of 375 Second St., Summerside, aged 71 years. Ivan was born in on December 29, 1934 to his parents , the late Russell and Gladys (McKinnon) Cameron.
Beloved husband of the late Isabelle ( nee Coughin) Cameron. Loving father of Lynn ( Brian ) Whitlock of Pleasant Valley, Vance ( Debbie ) of S'Side and Brenda ( Bob ) MacInnis of Travelers Rest. Also lovingly remembered by his 4 grandchildren Robert Whitlock, Bryan & Brooke Cameron, and Morgan MacInnis. He is also survived by his brothers Edson (Mary Rogers), Lot 16, Elmer (Sheila), Moncton, Lea (Doris), Lot 16, his sisters Ella Mae Deighan, S'Side, Vera (Roy) Fitzgerald, Ontario, Jean Smith, Saint John, Betty (Vince) Poirier, S'Side, his caring niece Barb (David) Wedge, his mother-in-law Ella Coughin and cousin Mary Milligan and his brother-in-law Kevin Coughin as well as several nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife and parents he was predeceased by his sisters Edith Gamble and Helen Gamble.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM. Interment to take place at a later date in People's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in Ivan's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday, 2 -4 & 7 -9 P.M.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
