Obituary of Green, Agnes Sadie
? The death occurred suddenly at her late residence 210 North Drive St. Eleanor's on Thursday, April 13th , 2006 of Agnes Sadie Green (nee Stewart) of St. Eleanor's, aged 68 years. Agnes was born in Wellington, P.E.I. on June 6th , 1937 to her parents, the late Ervil and Hazel (Campbell) Stewart.
Beloved wife of the late Walter A. Green. Loving mother of: Pearl (Douglas) Gallant, Harriet Green, Anna (Jim) Rogers, Mary Gallant, and Walter (Corinne) Green and special grandson Cory Green, all of Summerside . Also lovingly remembered by her 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, her sisters Annie MacCormack, Laura Green, Josephine Lewis, and Betty (Alfred) Cormier, her brother-in-law Tommy Green, and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband and her parents she was predeceased by her brothers James and Carl Stewart and her sister Mae Barlow.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday then to St. John's Anglican Church Summerside for a funeral service at 2:00 P.M.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Agnes' memory to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday, 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 P.M.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
