Obituary of Landry, Clarence Edward "Cappy"
The death occurred peacefully at Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Saturday,September 23rd,2006 of Edward Clarence 'Cappy' Landry of Linkletter Road, Summerside,P.E.I., aged 88 years.Cappy was born in Summerside , P.E.I. to his late parents, Joseph & Matilda (Wedge) Landry.
Dear husband of the late Edna (nee MacDonald) and Beatrice (Arsenault) Dykens and step-father of Dorothy (Wayne)Warren, Marie (Mike) Warren, Nancy (Allan) Jeffrey, Joeann (Paul) Mallett and Barb (Glen Bulger) Deagle. He is survived by 13 step grandchildren and 8 step great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by the following brothers & sisters : Stella Clow, Henry (Melina) Landry, Blanche Bennett, Elma Sonier and Tanton (Hilda) Landry and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Cappy was predeceased by his brother Alban (Mary), his brothers-in-law Ivan Clow, Don Sonier and Murray Bennett.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, September 27th , then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. Interment to take place in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens.
Memorial donations in Cappy's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 P.M. .

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
