Obituary of Arsenault, Hilda Charlotte

The death occurred suddenly at the Prince County Hospital,Summerside on Thursday, December 7th,2006 of Hilda Charlotte Arsenault ( nee Bridges ) of 256 Duke St., Summerside , aged 82 years. Hilda was born in McNeills Mills, P.E.I. to her parents Ben & Charlotte ( nee Phillips ) Bridges on April 18th , 1924. Beloved wife of the late Gildas J. Arsenault and loving mother of Emily Charlotte ( Harold ) Durant of Maximeville, Alma Arsenault of S'side, Trudy ( Ken ) Feeley of Peterborough On., Preston of S'side and Ben of S'side. Also lovingly remembered by her 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren , 5 great-great grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Survived by her brother Bill Bridges of Mount Pleasant and her sisters Laura Yeo of Slemon Park and Edie Arsenault of S'side. Besides her husband and her parents, she was predeceased by her grandson Robert Durant and her brothers & sisters : Walter, Ben , Harold, Archie, Hughie, Henry, George, Gertrude Bridges , Hattie Coughlin and Clara MacLaughlin. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, then to St. Paul's Church, S'side for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m. . Interment to take place in St. Philippe & St. Jacques Cemetery, Egmont Bay. Memorial donations in Hilda's memory to the I.W.K. Health Centre Foundation for children would be greatly appreciated.
