Obituary of Arsenault, Guy Roy
The death occurred peacefully after a long struggle with his illness at the Halifax Infirmary, Halifax, NS. on Wednesday April 21st, 2021 of Guy Roy Arsenault of St.Chrysostome, P.E.I., aged 45 years. Guy was born in Summerside to Roy and Dorise Arsenault.
Beloved husband of Francine Arsenault and loving father of Miguel, Tyler Brown (Ocean) and Nathan Brown (Shanie). Cherished by his 2 precious grandchildren Eliot and Scarlett.
Survived by his brother Michel (Lisa), sister Rachel, sister-in-law Maria (Dave) Kelly, father-in-law Edward, sisters-in-law Marlene (Paul) Gaudet and Gail (Roger) Brun, brother-in-law Jason (Audrey) nieces and nephews Luc, Karine, MaKenzie, Matthew, Myranda, Guillaume, Sylvain, Dani, Clara and Renee.
Predeceased by his father and mother-in-law Leonard and Claudette and by his brother-in-law Maurice. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.
Due to Covid-19 restrictions there will be a private funeral service. Interment to take place in St. Philippe & St. Jacques Church Cemetery, Egmont-Bay. Memorial donations in Guy's memory to can be made to the Prince County Hospital, Summerside or the charity of your choice.

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
