Obituary of Crossman, Norma Grace

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Thursday , January 11th , 2007 of Norma Grace Crossman ( nee Champion ) of Central Bedeque, aged 86 years. Norma was born in New London, P.E.I. on November 5th , 1920 to her parents Samuel & Annie ( nee Champion ) Burt. Beloved wife of Weldon Crossman. Loving mother of Dale( Lynn )of Central Bedeque, Thane of Central Bedeque, Danny of Chelton & Ronnie of Central Bedeque. Also lovingly remembered by her 4 grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, sisters-in-law Doris Crossman & Jean Burt and several nieces & nephews. Survived by the following brothers & sisters : Ruth Folland of Kensington, June Dunning of Kensington, Ralph Burt of Kensington, Helen MacDonald of Ch'town, Don Burt of S'side, Elmer ( Rona )Burt of Kensington, Lillian ( Clayton ) Warren of S'side & Enid Chappell of Kensington. Predeceased by her daughter Elizabeth Bowness,daughter-in-law Nina Crossman,brother Colin Burt, sisters-in-law Jennie Buchanan, Elaine Burt & Marjorie Burt and brothers-in-law Jack Crossman, Fred Folland, Frances Dunning and Sterling Chappell. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday for a memorial service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m.. Interment to take place in Central Bedeque United Baptist Cemetery. Memorial donations in Norma's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated. No visiting hours by personal request.
