Obituary of Lambe, Carroll Lee
Lambe : The death occurred peacefully with all his family by his side at the
Summerset Manor, Summerside, on Thursday, March 8th , 2007 of Carroll Lee Lambe
formerly of Springfield, P.E.I. , aged 83 years. Carroll was born in Springfield on March 22nd 1923 to his late parents , Michael and Anna (Deegan) Lambe. Beloved husband of the late Teresa (nee McInnis) Lambe. Loving father of Marjorie Hunter of Mill River East, Andy (Debby) of Ch'town, John of Albany, Mary Lambe (Darryl Noonan) of Borden-Carleton, Margaret (Jim) Bradley of S'Side, Brenda (Roger) Paynter of Borden-Carleton, Bobby of S'Side, and Sandra Lambe (Ron Crozier) of Lower Freetown. Also lovingly by his 19 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren, his son-in-law Bob Hunter of
Amherst N.S. and his brothers: Arthur (Rita) Lambe and Ivan (Ruth) Lambe all of
Ch'town. along with several nieces and nephews.
Carroll was predeceased his father Michael Lambe, his mother, Anna Deegan Lambe Hughes, his step-father Andrew Hughes, his grandson Nicholas Lambe, his sisters and brother: Eileen Morris, Ruth Winter, Margaret Tierney Foley, Elmer Lambe, Ann Dutton and Hilda Wood.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.until Monday then to St. James Church, Summerfield for funeral mass at 10:30 A.M.. Visiting hours on Saturday,7-9 p.m.only and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9. Memorial donations in Carroll's memory to the Summerset Manor Equipment Fund or the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
