?Gaudet: The death occurred peacefully & surrounded by his family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday, April 6th , 2007 of 'Peter' Nazaire Gaudet of 21 Main St. Miscouche , aged 91 years. Peter was born in St. Nicholas on August 1, 1915 to his parents Amable and Alma (Gaudet) Gaudet, he was the last surviving member of his family. Beloved husband of the late Marguerite (Arsenault) Gaudet. Loving father of Pauline (David) Blacquiere, S'Side, John, Miscouche, Linda (Dale) Yeo, S'Side, Kenneth, Miscouche, Betty (Leo) Poirier, S'Side, Brenda (Leo) LeBlanc, Hamilton, Ont, Nancy (Leonard) Coombs, Hamilton Ont., Dianne, Miscouche, Karen (George) McKenna, Lower Sackville, N.S. and Richard in Miscouche and grandfather of 19 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law Barbara DesRoches, S'Side, Joan (Bob) Holmes, Greenwood N.S., Kay Morrison, Aurora, Ont., and Irene (Art) Quinn, Calgary, Ab., and his brother-in-law Bill Arsenault, Sask. and by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife he was predeceased by his son Edmund, his grand-daughter Christine Anne Gaudet and by his brothers and sisters: Josie, Sr. Celina, CND, Anthony, J.J., Gus, Aldona and Bernadette. Resting at the East Prince Home , 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Tuesday then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 10:30 AM Interment to take place at a later date in the Church cemetery. Memorial donations in Peter's memory to St. John the Baptist Restoration Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Monday, 2 - 4 and 7-9.
