Obituary of Nicholson, Marie Sally

?The death occurred peacefully and with her daughter at her side at the Prince County Hospital , Summerside on Thursday, May 10th , 2007 of Marie 'Sally' Nicholson ( nee Arsenault ) of 338 LeFurgey Ave. Summerside and formerly of 6 Westview Drive Charlottetown , aged 86 years. Sally was born in St. Chrysostome on June 20, 1920, to her parents , the late Andrew and Leonide (Arsenault) Arsenault. Beloved wife of the late Malcolm Nicholson and loving mother of Myrna (Walter) McEwen of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Scott, Summerside, Shawn, Summerside, and James, Ottawa, and great-grandmother of Paige McEwen and Bryson Roberts-McEwen. She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Alma McCaffery, St. Stephen NB, Marie (Edgar) Hebert, Rexton NB, Alfred (Elva), Miscouche, Emile ( Jeannine), Montreal, Julia LeClair, Huntley, Raymond (Bettty) and Andrew, Halifax, and by her sisters-in-law Solange Arsenault, Saint John NB, Loretta Thomson, Charlottetown and Mary Katherine Noy, Charlottetown and numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents, Sally was predeceased by her brothers Alban and Joseph, her sister, Sister Aline Arsenault CND, and her brothers-in-law Gerard LeClair and Philip McCaffery. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday, then to Holy Redeemer Church, Charlottetown for funeral mass at 2:00 P.M.. Interment to take place in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Charlottetown. Memorial donations in Sally's memory to the International Children's Memorial Place or to the PC Hospital Hospice Association would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday , 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. and also Monday at 1:00 PM at the church until time of funeral.
