Obituary of Caissie, J. Theodore " Ted "

The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital,Summerside on Monday , June 11th , 2007 of Joseph Theodore 'Ted' Caissie of Miscouche and formerly of Summerside, aged 72 years. Ted was a member of the Canadian Armed Forces for over 20 years and was born on August 25th , 1934 in Egmont Bay, P.E.I. to his parents, the late Frank & Eulalie ( nee Gallant ) Caissie. Beloved husband of the late Pansy ( nee Clark ) Caissie and loving father of Cathy Caissie of Coaldale , Ab., Wayne of S'side, Yvette ( Stephen ) Arsenault of St. Philip , David ( Christine ) of Goderich, On., Paul ( Karen ) of Burlington, P.E.I., Anita ( Scott ) Baker of S'side and Brian of Banff, Ab.. Also lovingly remembered by his 26 grandchildren,10 great-grandchildren, 3 step-children and several nieces & nephews. Survived by his brother Willie ( Marie ) of S'side , his sister Melina ( Roderick ) Gallant of Slemon Park and his brother-in-law Vince Gallant of Miscouche. Besides his first wife and his parents, Ted was predeceased by his second wife Mary Gaudet, his sister Delina 'Mary' Gallant and his daughter-in-law Jennifer Caissie. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home , 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for a funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Visiting hours on Wednesday , 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 p.m. . Interment to take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche .
