Obituary of Birch, Elizabeth "Tedie"

The death occurred peacefully at Clinton View Lodge, Clinton, P.E.I. on Saturday, May 1st, 2021 of Elizabeth "Tedie" Mary (nee Gallant) Birch of Summerside, P.E.I., aged 93 years. Tedie was born in Summerside to the late Agnes Gallant. Beloved wife of the late Sydney Birch and loving mother of Betty (Erskine) Arsenault, Thelma Olsen, daughters-in-law Barb and Patricia. Also lovingly remembered by many grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survived by her brother Eric Gallant and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sons Gary, Eldon (Velda), Edgar, Hampton (Ella), Byron (Vivian), Reg (Ina), daughters Blanche (Lloyd) and Ethel (Joe) son-in-law Norman, brothers and sisters Jennie, Harriet, Biney, Maryellen, Elgin, Norman, Lawrence and Percy. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside. By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. Memorial donations in Tedie's memory can be made directly to PEI Humane Society.
