Obituary of Gallant, John Joseph "Junior"

?Gallant : The death occurred peacefully at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside on Friday, August 24th , 2007 of John Joseph 'Junior' Gallant of Wedgewood Manor, Summerside and formerly of LeFurgey Ave. Summerside, aged 74 years. John was born in Summerside on September 27, 1932 to his parents , the late John and Annie (McCue) Gallant. Loving husband of the late Valerie Anne (nee Doucette) Gallant and loving father of Rick (Sherry), Cambridge Ont, Lynn (Don) Sonier, David (Sandra), and Dale all of S'Side. He is also fondly remembered by 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren by several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents and his wife, John was predeceased by his brothers, Leonard and Andy and his sister Freda. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Monday for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 4:00 p.m. . Interment to take place in St. Paul's Cemetery, Summerside. Memorial donations in John's memory to Wedgewood Manor Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Sunday, 2-4 and 7 - 9 p.m. .
