Obituary of Gaudet, Joseph " Leonard "
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Sunday, September 16th , 2007 of Joseph 'Leonard' Gaudet of St. Nicholas P.E.I. ,aged 74 years. Leonard was born in St. Nicholas on July 15th , 1933 to his parents, the late Leo & Madeleine ( nee Gallant ) Gaudet.
Loving brother of Hilda ( Tanton ) Landry of S'side, Elric of S'side, Herbie ( Carolyn ) of S'side, Marie ( Gus ) Gaudet of St. Nicholas and Cedric of St. Nicholas. Also lovingly remembered by his very special friend Bernie Gaudet of Miscouche and numerous nieces & nephews.
Besides his parents, Leonard was predeceased by his sister Frances ( Alfred ) Gaudet , his brother Clarence ( Theresa ) Gaudet and 5 brothers & sisters in infancy.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, September 19th then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m..
Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Leonard's memory to St. John the Baptist Church Restoration Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Tuesday, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m..

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
