Obituary of DesRoches, Joseph " Francis "

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his family at the Summerset Manor, Summerside on Sunday, September 23rd , 2007 of Joseph 'Francis' DesRoches , formerly of Miscouche , aged 78 years. Francis was born in Summerside on February 28th , 1929 to his parents, the late Frank & Agatha ( nee Gaudet ) DesRoches. Beloved husband of Eunice DesRoches and loving father of David ( Theresa ) of Ottawa,On., Kenneth of Miscouche, Glenda ( Jacco ) DesRoches-Vos of Miscouche and Pam Chiasson ( Joel Arsenault ) of S'side. Also lovingly remembered by his 11 grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Survived by his brother John DesRoches of Miscouche. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Wednesday, September 26th , then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery . Memorial donations in Francis' memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association would be greatly appreciated.
