Obituary of Fraser, Winston "Bud" Franklin
?Fraser : The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at the Prince County Hospital , Summerside, on Thursday, November 8th , 2007 of Winston 'Bud' Franklin Fraser of 229 Linden Ave, Summerside, aged 64 years. Bud was born in Shediac N.B. on August 7, 1943, to his parents the late Lorne and Margaret (nee Ramsay) Fraser.
Loving brother of Lorraine (Bob) Hippenstall, Wanda (Elmer Gallant) Cannon, Verna (Enzer) Perry, Faith (Wayne) Gallant, and Sheila (Charles) Perry, all of Summerside. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Bud was predeceased by two sets of twins in infancy and by his brothers-in-law Roger Gallant and Arthur Cannon.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Monday for funeral service at the funeral home chapel at 10:00 A.M. Visiting hours Sunday 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 P.M. Interment to take place in Peoples Cemetery Summerside. Memorial donation's in Bud's memory to the Home Care Equipment Pool would be greatly appreciated. ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
