Obituary of Mills, Marjorie Aileen
The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Friday, December 28th, 2007 of Marjorie Aileen Mills ( nee Bryanton ) of St. Eleanors,aged 89 years. Marjorie was born in Spring Valley, P.E.I. on July 12th , 1918 to her parents, the late George & Sarah Jane ( nee MacDonald ) Bryanton.
Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Mills. Loving mother of Catherine ( Bill ) Postill of Trochu, Ab., Sandra Kitt of Calgary, Ab., Helen MacDonald , Benny Mills and Brian Mills , all of St.Eleanors . Also lovingly remembered by her 19 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. Survived by her sister Sarah E. Duggan of Summerside.
Besides her parents & husband , Marjorie was predeceased by numerous brothers & sisters.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Sunday , December 30th then to St. John's Anglican Church, St. Eleanors for funeral service at 2:00 p.m. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery . In lieu of flowers,memorial donations in Marjorie's memory to St. John's Anglican Church or the Prince County Hospital Foundation Fund would be greatly appreciated. No visiting hours by personal request .

In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
