Obituary of Lloyd Joseph Gaudet
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother Lloyd Joseph Gaudet, who left us on Saturday June 15, 2024 at the age 78 years. Lloyd was born in Miscouche, PEI to the late Cyril and Evelyn (Gallant) Gaudet.
Beloved husband of Iris Perry- Gaudet and loving father of Maurice (Caroline), Christina (Donnie) Arsenault, Marilyn (Gerald) Steele, stepchildren Jim (Elaine) Perry, Troy (Tracy) Perry Paulette (Mark) MacCaull. Also remembered by his grandchildren Brett, Lauren, Racheal, Parker, Jack, Ashley, Allie, Alysha, Luke, Matthew, Mason, Johnny, Kirk, Jensen and great grandchild Grayson.
Survived by his sisters Dolores, Willie, Sylvia, Grace, Marion (Tim), his in-laws Eileen, (Mal), Ann (Fred), Brenda and by several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by his brothers Maurice, Tommy, Paul, Charles and Gordie.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday June 20th, 2024 where a funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:30 a.m. Interment to take place in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Miscouche. Donations in Lloyds memory can be made directly to the Prince County Hospital Foundation. Visiting hours on Wednesday evening from 6 – 8 p.m.
ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
