Obituary of Gaudet, Lloyd Joseph

The death occurred suddenly at the Prince County Hospital,Summerside on Wednesday, February 27th , 2008 of 'Lloyd' Joseph Gaudet of Summerside , aged 75 years. Lloyd was born in Summerside, P.E.I. on July 15th , 1932 to his late parents, Raymond & Nettie ( nee Gallant ) Gaudet. Beloved husband of Marion( nee Blanchard ) Gaudet and loving father of Derrill of S'side, Lorna Gaudet of S'side, Linda Brighty ( Eric LaForest ) of Grand Falls, N.B. and Pam Gaudet ( Carl McMurrer ) of S'side. Also lovingly remembered by his granddaughters Ashley Brighty ( Skyler MacKay ) and Aimme Brighty ( Mark Buchanan ) , his two great-grandchildren Dontay & Tanner Brighty, his step-granddaughter Tanya LaForest , his special friend Johnny Veno and several nieces & nephews. Survived by his sisters Eleanor Creelman, Eileen ( George ) Perry, Noreen Arsenault all of Seven Mile Bay ,Muriel ( Everett ) DesRoches of Hamilton, On. and his brothers Allan & Howard Gaudet of Hamilton, On.. Besides his parents, Lloyd was predeceased by his brothers Arnold , Donald & Ivan , his sister Florence Gaudet, his step-mother Josie Gaudet and his brother-in-law Agno Arsenault. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Friday , February 29th , 2008 then to St. Paul's Church, Summerside for funeral mass at 2:00 p.m. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Lloyd's memory to the Prince County Hospital Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
