Obituary of Elsinga, Waltje "Wally"

Elsinga :The death occurred at Beach Grove Home, Charlottetown on Tuesday, March 4th , 2008 of Waltje 'Wally' Elsinga (nee Joostema) of Beach Grove Home and formerly of Graham's Road, aged 84 years. Beloved wife of the late Peter Elsinga Sr. and loving mother of Martin (Dimphy), Peter Jr. (Katherine MacLeod)., Margaret (Leslie) MacKay, Anne (Matthew) MacKay, Harry (Vicki), Evelyn (Joe) McCarthy, Juliana (James Clow), Elizabeth (Martin) Ross., Nanette (Maurice) Clark, and John. Also lovingly remembered by her 29 grandchildren and one great-grandchild, and by her brother Harry (Ida) Joostema and her sister Anneke (Henk) Bos. Besides her parents and her husband, Wally was predeceased by her sister Neeltje (Rintje) DeRoos of Holland. No visitation by personal request. A memorial service will be held at New London Presbyterian Church on Friday, March 7, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment later at People's Cemetery, New London. Memorial donations to the Beach Grove Home Meadow Unit or to the Alzheimer's Society of P.E.I. would be greatly appreciated.
