Obituary of Arsenault, Fidele John

The death occurred peacefully at the Summerset Manor ,Summerside on Sunday, May 4th, 2008 of Fidele John Arsenault of Summerside,aged 93 years. Veteran of World War II . Fidele was born on June 3rd , 1914 in Egmont Bay , P.E.I. to his late parents Azade & Lionide ( nee LeBlanc ) Arsenault . Beloved husband of 66 years to Catherine ( nee Martin ) Arsenault & loving father of David ( Sandra ), Jimmy ( Norma ) & Alvin ( Eleanor ) all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by his 6 grandchildren Randy, Ann, Susan, Toby, Candace & Ryan , his 10 great grandchildren and many nieces & nephews. As the last surviving member of his family, Fidele was predeceased by his brothers Albert,Alyre, Cyril, Edmond & Toussaint and his sisters Florence, Dora, Domithilde & Evelyn. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Thursday, then to St. Paul's Church, S'side for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Wednesday, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. . Comrades of the Royal Canadian Legion, Summerside will hold a Service of Remembrance at the funeral home on Wednesday evening at 6:45 p.m. .
