Obituary of Newson, H. Margaret

The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Wednesday, July 23rd, 2008 of H. Margaret Newson ( nee Matheson ) of 418 Maple Grove Road, Summerside , P.E.I. , aged 90 years. Margaret was born on January 31st , 1918 in Rose Valley, P.E.I. to her late parents,John & Hannah ( nee MacDonald ) Matheson. Beloved wife of the late Arthur W. Newson & loving mother of Carlyle ( Hazel ) , Deryl ( Carol Ann ) and Arlene ( Gordon ) Kent all of Summerside. Also lovingly remembered by her 4 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren . Survived by her brother Malcolm Matheson of Charlottetown. Besides her husband & her parents, Margaret was predeceased by her daughter Janet Newson and her sister Maude Matheson . Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Monday, July 28th for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m. . Interment to take place in People's Cemetery, Summerside. Visiting hours on Sunday evening only , 7 - 9 p.m. .
