Obituary of Blacquiere, Anna Beryl

The death occurred peacefully and surrounded by her loving family at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside, P.E.I. on Monday, September 15th , 2008 of Anna Beryl Blacquiere (nee Warner), of St. Nicholas, P.E.I., aged 77 years. Anna was born in Port Hawkesbury, N.S. on April 16, 1931, to her late parents Harold and Lillian (Lelacheur) Warner. Dear wife of the late Harold J. Blacquiere. And loving mother of LeRoy, Woodstock, N.B., Debbie ( John) Rudolph, Port Hawkesbury, N.S. Sandra (Joe) Praught, Port Hawkesbury, N.S., Harold 'Hal' (Marcella), St. Nicholas, John Douglas (Lois), Greenwood, N.S., David (Debbie), Springhill, P.E.I., Alice (Don) Perry, Linkletter, Donald, St. Nicholas, and Michael, (Kendra), Summerside. Anna is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Loving sister of Elsie (Earl) Chisholm, Port Hawkesbury N.S., Alice (Albert) LeBlanc, Belle Cote, N.S. and Evelyn Sutherland, Port Hawkesbury, N.S.. Besides her parents and her husband she was predeceased by her son, Joseph in infancy, her grand-daughter Christine in infancy, her brother Harold 'Bud', and her brother-in-law George Sutherland. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Rd., Summerside until Thursday, then to St. John the Baptist Church, Miscouche for funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. . Interment to take place in the church cemetery. Memorial donations in Anna's memory to the P.E.I. Lung Association or to St. John the Baptist Building Fund would be greatly appreciated. Visiting hours on Wednesday, 2 - 4 and 7- 9 P.M.. The Ladies Auxiliary of the Miscouche Royal Canadian Legion will hold at prayer service at 3:45 PM on Wednesday at the funeral home.
