Obituary of Gallant, Mary " Irene "

?The death occurred peacefully & surrounded by her loving family at the Perrin's Clinton View Lodge , Clinton on Sunday, November 2nd,2008 of Mary 'Irene' Gallant ( nee Arsenault ) of Summerside , P.E.I. ,aged 96 years. Irene was born on January 28th , 1912 in Egmont Bay , P.E.I. to her late parents Tim & Loretta Arsenault. Beloved wife the late Fred ( Holman ) Gallant and loving mother of Ernie ( June ) of Summerside . Also lovingly remembered by her 4 grandchildren , her 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandaughter along with several nieces & nephews. Survived by her sister Corinne Arsenault of S'side. Besides her parents and her husband, Irene was predeceased by her son Allan ( Yip ), her brothers: Ernest, Leo, Leonard & Sid and her sisters: Exineina, Madeline, Rita, Aldea, & Bella. Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Tuesday, Nov. 4th then to St. Paul's Church, S'side for funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. . Interment in the church cemetery. Visiting hours on Monday, 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Irene's memory to Digital Mammography Unit of the Prince County Hospital or Perrin's Clinton View Lodge Equipment Fund would be greatly appreciated.
