Obituary of Rogers, Jennie Frances
?The death occurred at the Prince County Hospital, Summerside on Saturday,March 14th, 2009 of Jennie Frances Rogers of Perrin's Clinton View Lodge, Clinton and formerly of Chelton, P.E.I., aged 83 years. Jennie was born on March 30th, 1925 in Chelton, P.E.I. to her late parents, George & Bertha ( nee Campbell ) Rogers.
Jennie is survived her brother Everett of Clinton P.E.I. and her sister-in-law Doris of Borden, P.E.I.. Also lovingly remembered by numerous nieces & nephews.
Besides her parents, Jennie was predeceased by her sisters Caroline, Margaret, Pansy, Marion and Ruby and by her brothers Haviland, Wyman and Lewis.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Tuesday March 17th, 2009 for funeral service in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 p.m.. Visiting hours on Monday, 7-9 P.M. only. Interment to take place in St. John's Anglican Church Cemetery, St. Eleanors at a later date. Memorial donations in
Jennie's memory to the P.E.I. Lung Association or to the Prince County Hospital Foundation may be made at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
