Obituary of O'Brien, Theresa Mary
The death occurred peacefully & surrounded by her loving family at the Wedgewood Manor, Summerside on Monday, March 16th , 2009 of Theresa Mary O'Brien ( nee Kilbride ) , formerly of Wellington Centre, P.E.I. , aged 82 years. Theresa was born on August 28th , 1926 in Port Hill, P.E.I. to her late parents, Percy & Katherine ( nee MacIntyre ) Kilbride.
Beloved wife of the late Camillus O'Brien & loving mother of Bernadette of Moncton, N.B., Maureen of Victoria, B.C., Jacinta ( Don Rogers ) of Kelowna, B.C., Stephen ( Jacqueline MacDonald ) of S'side and Edward ( Tanya Doucette ) of S'side. Also lovingly remembered by her 5 grandchildren Joey, Mikailla, Tyler, Amjed & Summer, along with numerous nieces & nephews. Survived her brother Lorne ( Betty ) Kilbride of Grand River & her sisters Anna Banks of S'side, Loretta Badke of New Jersey, U.S.A. & Eva Yeo of Ontario.
Besides her husband & her parents , Theresa was predeceased by brothers & sisters : Kay Derosa, Eleanor Brown, Lorraine MacIntyre , Gussie & Gerald Kilbride.
Resting at East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside, until Thursday, March 19th, 2009 then to Immaculate Conception Church, Richmond for funeral mass at 10:30 a.m.. Interment to take place in the church cemetery at a later date. Memorial donations in Theresa's memory to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Canadian Cancer Society or the P.E.I. Humane Society would be greatly appreciated.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
