Obituary of Brown, James
The death occurred peacefully at the Prince County Hospital with his loving wife Vivian (nee MacDougall) Brown at his bedside on Saturday, May 23rd , 2009 of James Brown, better known as 'The Old Trapper' of Mont Carmel, P.E.I. aged 80 years. James was born on October 15th, 1928 in Ontario.
Loved and cherished by his children Joanna (Leonard) Lovecchio of Ontario, James (Bea) Brown of N.B., Donnie (Sue) Brown of Calgary and Brenda (Merle) of B.C., his step-children Fred (Marcella) Drover of Ont., Carol 'His little girl' (Michael) Arsenault of S'side and Pam (Troy) George of Alberton, his beautiful grandchildren Susan & Chris (Rioanna) Brown, Jordan Crane, Tommy, Jillian & Pamela Lovecchio, his step-grandchildren who thought the world of him Derek (Maryann), Jennifer (Jeremy), Chelsey, Mitchell Arsenault, Ryan, Sarah, Tierra & Dylan George & Eric Drover. Great grampie to Summer Drover, Faith & Andrew Brown, Tristan Crane, Grace Peters, Tyler, Thomas, Tawny, Kyle & Noah Lovecchio. Special great grampie to baby Connor Martin . James will also be loved and remembered by many special friends.
Besides his parents , James was predeceased by his son Danny.
By personal request, there will be no visiting hours or funeral service held. A celebration of James' life will be celebrated at a later date for family & friends.

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
