Obituary of Rayner, Theresa Mary
The death occurred at her home on Friday, May 29th , 2009 of 'Theresa' Mary Rayner ( nee Brennan ) of Summerside , aged 79 years. Theresa was born on January 26th , 1930 in Sea Cow Pond, P.E.I. to her late parents Wilfred & Mary ( nee Perry ) Brennan . Beloved wife of the late Merrill Rayner.
Loving mother of Debbie ( Eldon ) Murphy & Cindy ( Frank ) McCardle all of Middleton. Also lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Jennifer ( Jeff ) , Nicholas ( Sarah ),Matthew ( Rachel ), Mitchell ( Patty ), Nolan, Alex, Ellen, Charles & Erika, her great-grandchildren Kyle, Oliver & Mackenzie and several nieces & nephews. Survived by her brothers Edgar ( Eleanor ) Brennan of Tignish & Donnie ( Wanda )Brennan of Ontario, her sister Stella ( Cecil ) Stewart of Cardigan, her brother-in-law Percy Rayner of S'side and her sisters-in-law Rosemarie Brennan of Tignish, Vina Brennan of Oromocto, N.B.,Evelyn Brennan of Boston, Mass., Winnie Getson of Greenmount & Thelma Hess of Ontario.
Besides her parents & husband, Theresa was predeceased by her brothers Walter, Earl & Stephen Brennan.
Resting at the East Prince Funeral Home, 245 Pope Road, Summerside until Wednesday, June 3rd , 2009 , then to Central St. Christian Church, Summerside for funeral service at 10:00 a.m. . Interment to take place in People's Cemetery, S'side . Memorial donations in Theresa's memory to the Canadian Cancer Society, the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice would be greatly accepted. Visiting hours on Tuesday , 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 p.m. .

ABOUT US
In the late 1980's, a group of citizens from the East Prince area met to discuss the possibility of establishing a co-operative funeral home. Two such homes were operating successfully in Prince County, namely the West Prince Funeral Home in Palmer Road and the Evangeline Funeral Home in Urbainville. As a result, on January 24th, 1989, the East Prince Funeral Co-operative Ltd. was formed.
